Cat Family Adopts Wayward Ferret
When Stan the ferret lost his job, there wasn’t much his family could offer.
“They were all down on their luck,” says Stacy Minnow, a friend of the family. “Money was tight, and there really wasn’t room for Stan to come back home.”
He began to drift, according to Minnow and other sources. “It was one dead-end job after another, crashing on friends’ couches,” she says. “It really threw him off his game.”
It wasn’t until he applied for a live-in housekeeper job that things really began to turn around. He was hired by Floyd Madigan (of the Newport Madigans), a cat of substantial means, whose family fell in love with Stan.
“He’s very charming when he’s around the right people,” Minnow explains. “He just clicked with the Madigans. Now they consider him one of their own.”

This fellow kinda peeked around a corner to watch me while I was walking the beach in Sewart, Alaska.

This was me at work today.
This was me in the week after school ended (+ repeating the mantra “sweet mercy, it’s over, I am free now”).
This is me all summer
